Like most girls, I love makeup but I don’t have enough money to spend $500 at Sephora. But I want my makeup to look nice so I can feel good when I go out to places. So here are my favorite drugstore makeup products that won’t break the bank.
E.l.f Power Grip Primer – Dupe for the Milk Hydro Grip Primer. With its tacky and lightweight texture, makeup sticks easily making your makeup last longer. Start your makeup routine by applying a generous layer. This can be bought for $10.
E.l.f Halo Glow – This product blew up on Tik Tok for being the drugstore dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. When worn alone it has a very glowy finish for dewy skin. You can also wear it under or mixed in with your foundation or wear it as a natural highlighter. I use shade 2 fair/light. You can find this product at Ulta for $14.
Maybelline Instant Age Eraser – This is a classic concealer for girls in middle school and is perfect for girls starting to use makeup. This concealer is very creamy and easy to blend. It takes away dark circles and acne scars very easily and comes in many shades that match most skin colors. You can find this at Walmart for $8.80.
PIXI on the glow blush – this blush is one of my favorite drugstore blushes of all time. I love that it is an extremely creamy and blendable formula. This blush also has a very buildable coverage depending on how much blush you like to wear. The coloring is also natural using Aloe Vera and Fruit extracts. You can also use this stick on your lips. I love the shade Fluer because it is a very pretty baby pink and looks very flattering on many skin tones. It is $18 which is a little pricey for drugstore blush but it is so worth it.
Nyx contour sticks – Easy to apply and are exceptionally creamy and super easy to blend. It is a 2-in-1 stick with one end being a contour and the other side being a highlighter. This contour stick is also a vegan and cruelty-free formula. It comes it many color options for all skin tones and is suitable for darker skin tones. This contour stick is $14 at Ulta.
Revolution highlighter – I love this highlighter it is so pigmented and is just as good if not better than the Rare Beauty highlighter. It comes in beautiful colors and is very durable. A little goes a long way with this highlighter and looks best in the inner corners of my eyes and my cheekbones. My personal favorite is the shade Set the Tone which is an opalescent silver color. You can find highlighter only at Ulta for only $7.
For mascara, there is no right answer because there are some very good ones. My personal Sky High by Maybelline gives me long, voluminous, not clumpy lashes. But some other brands that make phenomenal mascaras are L’oreal, Maybelline, and Essence.
Maybelline Fit Me Powder – This product is easy to apply and gets rid of the shine in the “T” zone area. Very lightweight and blurs pores keeping makeup matte for 8+ hours. Has shades that are suitable for dark skin tones. The loose and packed powders are both very good but are different depending on how you like to set your face. Can be found for $8
Milani Make it Last Setting Powder – This setting spray gets first place for drugstore setting spray. It works just as well as high-end setting sprays. It is long-lasting and lightweight leaving a natural finish. The formula is also vegan, cruelty-free, and made with natural and clean ingredients. At Ulta, this is $11.
These are my favorite drugstore makeup products I hope you enjoyed them.
